What is Line Sorter & Shuffler?

Our Line Sorter organizes lists and data lines across 6 sorting algorithms: Alphabetical (A–Z), Reverse Alphabetical (Z–A), Natural Numerical Sorting (ordering 1, 2, 10 correctly), Length Ascending, Length Descending, or Random Fisher-Yates Shuffling with complete local browser privacy.

Designed for accuracy, speed, and privacy, this tool runs entirely on your local device with zero network latency.

Formula & Calculation Logic

Implements String.prototype.localeCompare with natural numeric collation to prevent lexicographical sorting bugs (e.g. 10 sorting before 2), and uses the Fisher-Yates algorithm for unbiased random shuffling.

Natural Sort: a.localeCompare(b, undefined, { numeric: true, sensitivity: "base" }) | Shuffle: Fisher-Yates O(N) Algorithm
