What is Image SEO Studio?

Image SEO Studio prepares images and their website metadata in one place. Resize and compress a single photo or a batch, create descriptive filenames, and prepare alt text, titles and captions from your page topic, keywords and description.

Export the processed images with picture markup, CSS code, an image sitemap and a report in a ZIP. Processing runs in your browser. The tool does not recognize photo content, publish files or guarantee search rankings.

How to Use Image SEO Studio

  1. 1Upload one image or a batch. The workspace accepts up to 50 files, 25 MiB per file, 24 megapixels per source and 100 MiB combined inputs.
  2. 2Choose your output size, format and quality in the editor. You can also enter a plain-language instruction and select Parse & Apply.
  3. 3Add your page topic, keywords and an accurate image description. Generate suggestions, then review the filename, alt text, title and caption.
  4. 4Process the image or run the batch. Review the output and any warnings before downloading.
  5. 5Set your real website and image URLs, then export the ZIP. Upload the files to your website and add the provided alt text and markup in your CMS or HTML.

How Processing Works

The browser Canvas engine resizes and re-encodes images as WebP, JPEG or PNG. AVIF encoding is checked in your browser. When unsupported, output falls back to WebP with the correct filename, MIME type and a warning.

SEO suggestions use your supplied context and the original filename. Alt text belongs in your page HTML or CMS, not inside the downloaded image. The browser build produces one configured width per image. Picture sources switch formats; they do not create additional responsive widths.

Use img or picture elements for important page images. Google does not index CSS background images. Preload a hero image only when testing shows it helps, matching the actual source and format to avoid duplicate downloads.

A tested export example

A 1600 × 1067 JPG photo of a mountain lake (488,511 bytes), resized to 1200 pixels wide at quality 75, produced a valid 1200 × 800 WebP file (142,632 bytes). Results depend on the source image and settings.

Image SEO Studio Frequently Asked Questions

Does the tool analyze the photo?

No. Suggestions use the filename, topic, keywords and description you provide. Check their accuracy against the image and its purpose before publishing.

Where do I use the alt text?

Add it to the image in your CMS or HTML. It is supplied in the markup and report, not stored inside the downloaded image. Decorative images should use empty alt text.

Can I work offline?

After the offline-ready message, the app can reload offline. Uploaded images are session-only: export before reloading. Unsaved images are lost on reload.

Does AVIF work in every browser?

No. Encoding support is checked. Unsupported browsers save WebP with the matching extension and MIME type and show a warning.

Does it create multiple responsive sizes?

The browser version generates one configured width per image. Selected formats provide format switching, not multiple width breakpoints.

Does exporting publish files or improve rankings automatically?

No. Upload your images and use the exported markup on your website. Exporting does not publish files, submit a sitemap or guarantee search results.
